I am a master's student at the University of Toronto where I am a member of the Cognitive Lexicon Laboratory and supervised by Yang Xu.

My current research goal is to improve the ability for machines to communicate with humans. I hope to achieve this by uncovering the cognitive mechanisms which enable humans to effectively communicate with one another. I am particularly interested in how semantic change and emotion affect the process of communication. My current research focuses on semantic change at the individual level and emotion change at the population and individual level.

In 2025, I graduated summa cum laude from McMaster University with a B.A.Sc. degree in Computer Science. During my time as an undergraduate, I did research with Charles Welch and Christopher Anand.
